Farawayland

Farawayland is the strongest regional power and is a member of the UN but not a member of NATO. Farawayland has hitherto led an active foreign policy participating in peace keeping operations all over the world.

Farawayland does not intend to let random crises in the region weaken their position as the dominating power and sees itself as the first and historical rightful power to influence/intervene in the Baltic area if the situation dictates.

In general Farawayland wishes to maintain good and peaceful relations with all countries in the region and in particular with Islandia, together with its lucrative agricultural, industrial and (in particular) weapons export markets.

Furthermore, the bilateral security agreement still exists between the two states along with the newly signed bilateral agreement concerning the exploitation and distribution of the NORTH VENDIAN oil deposits.

Farawayland has stated on numerous occasions that Islandian security is of strategic importance to Farawayland and they consider the stability of the Baltic Sea region as their responsibility. Farawayland presently have a batch of F-16 and PA200 stationed on air stations in Islandia.
