Large ships like the ABSALON class are sensitive to strong winds, and in the narrow Odense Canal the 19.5 meter wide ESBERN SNARE takes up a lot of room.

The weather forecast anticipates winds that could make it difficult for the support ship to leave the harbour in the morning, so to avoid unnecessary risk, it was decided to speed up the departure.

The other DANEX units are still in the harbour. They will depart Odense between 08:00 and 11:00 AM tomorrow, to participate in DANEX 06 phaze 2.
