RESOLUTION 6117 (2007)
Adopted by the Security Council, on 3 August 2007

The Security Council, acting in support of a request from the Government of Islandia to deploy an international force to assist the Government, authorizes a NATO force to take all necessary action in areas of deployment of its forces and as it deems within its capabilities, to ensure that its area of operations is not utilized for hostile activities of any kind, to resist attempts by forceful means to prevent it from discharging its duties under the mandate of the Security Council, and to protect United Nations personnel, facilities, installations and equipment, ensure the security and freedom of movement of United Nations personnel, humanitarian workers and, to protect civilians under imminent threat of physical violence in Vendia, Islandia and independent Enclave of Islandia;

Bearing in mind the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, and the primary responsibility of the Security Council for the maintenance of international peace and security.

Recalling its condemnation 2134 (2007)

Expressing deep concern over the terrorist actions in the region and the unstable situation between Vendia and Islandia regarding the three Isles of Laesoe, Samsoe and Anholt.

Concerned about the impact that such violence may have on the region countries, the freedom of passage, as well as on the civilian populations of Vendia, the Independent enclave of Islandia and Islandia,

Condemning the supporting of and the violations by terrorist organisation(s) in Islandia as well as in other western countries,
Strongly condemning the recent Vendian occupation of the Isles of Laesoe and Anholt,

Condemning that the government of Vendia is tolerating hostile aggressions and terrorist attacks in neighbouring countries,
Determining that there exist a breach of the peace in the region,
And acting under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations,
Authorises a NATO-lead force to

a) Counteract terrorist activities inside and outside of Islandia, Vendia and Danian territories including territorial waters,

b) Establish and maintain an embargo of arms and related materiel of all types, including weapons and ammunition, military vehicles and equipment, police equipment and spare parts for the aforementioned, to any person or body in Vendia or to any person or body for the purposes of any business carried on in or operated from Vendia, in the open sea as well as in Islandia and Dania territorial waters to prevent any weapons or terrorists access Vendia,

c) Deploy a maritime force to the area of Kattegat and Skagerrak, respecting the Neutrality of Swelandia, to use such measures commensurate to the specific circumstances as may be necessary to secure free passage and to halt all inward and outward shipping from Vendia and The Islandian Isles Anholt, Samsoe and Laesoe in order to inspect and verify their cargoes and destinations and to ensure the implementation of arms and trade embargoes as well as terrorist encounter as outlined in the before mentioned sections a and b,

d) Ensure and maintain the safety of persons with diplomatic status and UN workers in Islandia, Vendia territories and the Independent enclave of Islandia including their territorial waters,

e) Use all necessary means to ensure the above.
Decides to keep this item on its agenda and to continue its efforts to put an early end to this conflict and Stresses the importance of, and the need to achieve, a comprehensive,
just and lasting peace in the area.

This Resolution has been approved with 14 votes, Northlandia refrained from voting.
