Danish Task Group's missions
Danish Task Group has had the honour of actively participating in a range of international naval missions throughout the years. Below, you can explore these endeavours.
Missions
In 2008, CTF150 was led by Commander Danish Task Group and his staff. It was the early start of what would become the most significant international anti-piracy effort in the Gulf of Aden.
CTF 151 was established in response to increasing pirate attacks off the coasts of Somalia. In 2013-14, the operations were led by Commander Danish Task Group and his staff.
Operation Ocean Shield was NATO's anti-piracy mission. Danish Task Group has led the mission on multiple occasions as part of the Danish anti-piracy efforts from 2008 to 2017.
Operation Removal of Chemical weapons from Syria was led by Commander Danish Task Group and a small international but primarily Danish staff.
Operation Removal of chemical weapons from Libya was led by Commander Danish Task Group and his staff.
Danish Task Group has on multiple occasions led Standing NATO Maritime Groups 1 and 2. SNMG is part of NATO's Very High Readiness Forces.
Operation AGENOR was established due to the increasing attacks against civilian shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Danish Task Group led the operation in 2021.
Danish Task Group regularly supports operations worldwide in staff positions. These can be planned or ad hoc operations that require the expertise of experienced, competent tactical staff officers and chiefs. Recent operations include:

- Operation Prosperity Guardian
